The SynTec Poly Foam R50 is a two-component polyurethane rigid foam with a low density free density of approximately 40 to 50 kgm-3. This polyurethane hard foam is an all-rounder that can be used for various applications. The R50 is a durable foam with excellent properties.
Calculation of required quantity:
Quantity of PU Foam = desired density (kgm-3) x filling volume (m3).
The R50 has a free density of 45-50, but to get a good result you should calculate with a desired density of 70 kg m3.

The materials R50 comp. A and Comp. B should be processed at room temperature 18 – 25°C and preferably not lower than 18°C to retain good properties.
Weigh the desired quantity neatly with a scale. The mold must be dry and clean. After weighing correctly, mix Comp. A and B well into a homogeneous mixture and therefore streak-free. Poor mixing results in sticky and poor quality foam. Mixing and pouring must be completed before the 35-40 second creaming time starts.
The foam can be cut off from, for example, the air holes after 2 hours. Complete curing takes only 72 hours.
