Formech FMDH660 is an ideal machine for testing and pre-production applications. Thanks to the relatively lower costs, small size and yet a form option of 620 x 620 x 250 mm, the FMDH660 can process up to 10 mm plate thickness. Unique to this machine is the manually operated double heating zone for processing a wide range of materials and applications.

7-inch color HMI / PLC with Formech cycle display (FCV)
Wago control system with 7 “color touch screen, real-time adjustments, 1% incremental increase control, Formech cycle display and 40 preset memories.

Twin Heaters
Top and bottom heaters create demanding materials and shorten cycle times (6 zones top heat, 6 zones below heat).

Ceramic heaters
Ceramic heaters are well suited for high volume production when heaters are turned on for a long time and a constant temperature must be maintained.

Electric heater Drive
Electrically powered heating element for convenient operation. Controlled speed and braking prevent damage to elements.

Pre-Stretch
Pre-stretch allows the user to pump air into the heated plate, creating an air bubble to prevent material from thinning with deeper tools.

Auto-Level
Avoids material sag during the heating cycle and maintains an even distance between the heater and the plate, while providing the user with an audible indication that the material is ready to be formed.

Vacuum and pressure gauges
A visual indication of a consistent vacuum and pressure being applied (pressure in Hg / bar).

Reducing Window
Reduces the forming area to use smaller sheets of material and minimize waste. We offer this in Standard or custom format.

Reel Feed
Assembly to hold reel materials.

Cooling ventilation system
To cool molded material and shorten cycle times.

Heating pyrometer
Sensor for accurate feedback of the blade temperature and for returning heaters when target temperature is reached (except on the 686 and 1372 where it gives a digital readout). Emergency air storage tank provides cooling continuity on shutdown to protect the pyrometer.

Vacuum flow regulator
Accurately controls the vacuum flow when a higher level of control is required in demanding applications.

Multi-user pin access control
The supervisor of the machine can choose and determine an access level for the different operators.

Quartz heating with variable standby
Quartz heaters have the advantage of fast response and high efficiency, resulting in time and energy savings.

Pneumatic trigger clamps
Pneumatically powered clamping system that provides powerful and effortless operation.
