The Syntec C silicone is often used for making small and large molds. The condensation silicone has a high mechanical and chemical resistance and is therefore also the economical variant of the Eurosil Addition silicone.<\/p>\n

Syntec C10 has a soft Shore A 10 and is a tin-curing condensation silicone. This Tin curing silicone has a mixing ratio of 100 A + 5% B (catalyst). The Condensation silicone is an economical silicone that is widely used for one-off or molds with a relatively short lifespan. The Syntec C-silicone is often used for making both small and large molds. The condensation silicone has a high mechanical and chemical resistance. The condensation silicone is a white silicone with a transparent oil-like hardener. The viscosity is 50,000 cP and has a 60 minute pot life. The curing time is 24 hours.<\/p>\n

In contrast to the addition silicone, the condensation silicone has a limited shelf life because the catalyst leaves the silicone. This process starts from the curing process and continues for weeks after curing. This means there is a great chance of shrinkage over time. Condensing silicones can also be used in the molding of materials that give inhibition \/ reaction upon addition silicones, such as certain (sulfur-containing) clays.<\/p>\n

Condensation \/ tin curing silicone is available in Shore A 10, 20 and 30.<\/p>\n
