Poly foam F5 is an easy and quick to mix components and self-foaming polyurethane foam with a flexible property. The urethane foam F5 has a \u201cfree-rise density\u201d of 5 lb \/ ft\u00b3 and thus 80 kg \/ m3, but can also be cast with a density of 8 to 15 lb \/ ft\u00b3 (up to 240 kg \/ m3) to create a good surface. detail and filling of the mold. The flexible foams can be used as filler in cast resins and rubbers or for props, tools, art objects, decorative or functional applications or for parts that need to be lightweight. These Poly Foams can be cast in our Eurosil (addition) and SG C-Sil silicone rubber molds or in our polyurethane rubbers which are pre-coated with release agent such as our release agent Pol-Ease 2300 or release agent VL.<\/p>\n

The PolyFoam F-5 is a foam with 1A: 1B mixing ratio and has a viscosity of 1,400 cP. The Poly foam has a cream time of 45 sec in the first phase, after which the p.u. foam will foam up for 3-5 minutes. After 25 minutes, the stickiness of the foams will decrease and you will see a shell around the foam. This skin arises from the foam itself (self skinning). The F-5 foam can be removed from the mold after 30 – 60 minutes. Since the skin of the product arises automatically from the product, maximum foam will form in the mold and on the surface. The Poly foam can also be colored with the poly paste and poly colors.<\/p>\n

SynTec\u00ae produces \u201cflexible\u201d and \u201cRigid\u201d polyurethane casting foams (PolyFoams). The Flexible foams are available in two variants, PolyFoam F-3<\/a> and PolyFoam F-5 (cast density 3-5 lb \/ ft\u00b3). The rigid, hard version is available in R-2, R-5 and R-8.<\/p>\n
