Smith’s Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener van Polytek is een additief voor PlatSil\u00ae Gels dat op grote schaal wordt gebruikt in toepassingen voor speciale effecten en prosthetische toepassingen. Het wordt gebruikt om het typisch pittige, synthetische gevoel van siliconen te veranderen en het uiterlijk van huid of menselijk weefsel te simuleren. De Deadener is een must om toe te voegen voor het maken van huid structuren zoals bedoeld voor het educatieve proces binnen medische opleidingen tot aan toepassingen voor het maken van real dolls en baby clonen.<\/p>\n

U kunt maximaal 300% Smith’s deadener toevoegen van het totale gewicht van de Platsil Gel mengsel (A+B). U kunt dit proefondervindelijk zelf samenstellen zoals u wenst hoe de stugheid, (langzame) rek\u00a0 en eigenschappen van menselijk huid weefsel te cre\u00ebren. Wanneer u een groot deel (tot 300%) deadener toevoegd aan de Platsil Gel kan er met een super gel gemaakt worden die extreem zacht is met zeer plakkerige eigenschap. Wij adviseren altijd een test te doen met het toevoegen van deadener alvorens u hiermee gaat werken. De plakkerige eigenschap kan worden verminderd met de toevoeging van talkpoeder. De talkpoeder kan eenvoudig opgeborsteld worden op de siliconen laag.<\/p>\n

Vaak wordt de eerste dunne laag (oppervlakte) gebruikt zonder toevoeging van deadener en daarna een gemengde Platsil Gel gebruikt met deadener als een tweede laag om de oppervlakte spanning de verkrijgen zoals een menselijk huidweefsel.<\/p>\n
