Platsil Gel 25
Two-component, platinum-curing, addition silicone gel RTV.

PlatSil® Gel-25 silicone rubber is a liquid silicone system based on A+B components that cures at approximately room temperature (RTV) into a milky white rubber with a Shore A25 hardness. This silicone is most commonly used for making prosthetics (in combination with PlatSil® Deadener LV or Smith’s Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener), dolls, gaskets, and seals, as well as for making silicone rubber castings, rubber parts, and molds.

PlatSil® Gel-25 has been tested by an independent laboratory and complies with 21 CFR 177.2600 (as published in the Code of Federal Regulations) for rubber articles intended for repeated use on surfaces in contact with food, provided they are accurately measured, thoroughly mixed, and fully cured. FDA Approval food grade silicone materials such as the Platsil Gel10, Gel 25, Platsil 71-25, Platsil 73-45, Platsil Gel 60, and Tinsil 80-30 silicone products.

PlatSil® Gel-25 is independently certified as safe for the skin. It meets the requirements of the applicable sections of the U.S. Federal Hazardous Substance Act (FHSA) Regulations (16 CFR 1500), LHAMA (16 CFR 1500.14), ASTM D4236, sections 201(s) and 409 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and toxicological risk assessment requirements.
