ESD coating for electrostatic protection and sealing

With dichtol ESD from DIAMANT Polymer, components can be given an electrostatically dissipative surface while micropores and hairline cracks are sealed at the same time. This ready-to-use, single-component solution is developed for applications where protection against electrostatic discharge is important, for example in electronics, production aids, housings, tooling and additively manufactured parts.

Unlike a conventional surface coating, dichtol ESD penetrates porous structures through capillary action. This not only improves the ESD properties of the surface, but also allows small pores and hairline cracks to be permanently sealed. In this way, the product combines ESD protection and sealing in a single treatment.
