DETAX Rapid Cast 2.0

Rapid Cast 2.0 by Detax is a specially developed 3D printing resin for the production of castable patterns in audiology. The material is used to accurately print molds that can be injected with flexible silicone.

The blue-transparent material provides visual control during the filling process (preventing air bubbles) when using liquid VPS silicone. A major advantage is that after injection and curing of the silicone, the Rapid Cast 2.0 can be placed in water to dissolvve the shell. This shell separates from the silicone, making it easier to remove from the final product.
