Silicone release agent for silicones, Pol-Ease 2500

Pol-Ease 2500 is an aerosol release agent that can be easily washed off molds and models. This may be necessary for, among other things, paint the models and castings. The Pol-Ease 2500 is also used for casting silicone on silicone materials and molds.

For making molds:

Apply to non-porous or sealed models when making silicone rubber molds (not recommended for use with liquid polyurethane rubbers).

For casting:

1. Apply to silicone rubber molds when pouring liquid silicone rubber. T
2. To extend the life of the mold, silicone molds apply when casting materials such as polyurethane plastics, rubbers or epoxies (release agent is not required for this process, but can prolong the life of the mold).
3. Apply to the polyurethane or mold or model before pouring polyurethane liquid plastics. The main reason for using Pol-Ease® 2500 in a polyurethane mold or on model would be to be easier to clean or wash. This is used when the PU models have to be painted.

For better results, the model can be brushed out with a soft brush after spraying. Drying time is not necessary.
